On Sunday 28th June, Newquay Lions Club gathered for the annual Presidential Handover, marking the end of a dedicated year of service from Outgoing President Barb May and welcoming Incoming President Andy Hannan into the role.
Barb was thanked for her leadership, commitment, and the energy she brought to the club throughout the past year. Andy now steps forward with fresh ideas and enthusiasm as he begins his term as President.
During the handover, Andy shared his hopes for the year ahead, highlighting the club’s ongoing focus on teamwork, service, and supporting the Newquay community.
The club also welcomed Pete Harrison as Vice President, strengthening the leadership team for another busy year of community projects, fundraising, and local support.
Newquay Lions Club looks forward to continuing its work across the town and beyond, proudly serving the community as part of the world’s largest service organisation.
